Ill often play where i have a kid born to drugiie parents its abusive and they are saved by a grandparent or the foster system, and go into a home, or are nursed back to health by the loving grandparent.
Sims is like playing dolls but ina computer, it can often help work through stuff in your own life through the creativeity and character exploreation (or atleast the way i play) I also like to have a very diverse large world pf sims, diverse backgrounds too, some of then coming from backgrounds of donestic violence just like many of us in real life do. I get you, as someone who grew up in an abusive home, where violence from parents was the norm, i often find my sims who have darker backgrounds or might struggle through alcholic abusive parents themselves the most relateable.
